MTS Datacard Hardware Failure- in nearly 2 weeks from the date purchase/poor service


Company/Brand: MTS Broad band - Shyam Telecom


MTS - purchased date 2/10/10.
After resolving the connectivity issue after several calls (where you have been pushed around between dealer and some contacts - some don't work).

last used on 20th Oct.
Reason: Hardware failure.

I had sorely given up following up with the dealer/customer services and resorted to other options.

Jul 14 called again to the customer service. I am told that it has been disconnected and they don't have any records.

None of it is in favour of customer satisfaction:
1. Sell a low quality product that did not last more that 18 days- actual usage is much lesser?
2. Why would they disconnect with out informing. Address is with MTS which they collected at the time of activation?
3. Why wouldn't they replace if the problem is because of low quality of equipment?
4. Call centre person has no authority and she refused to get the manager on call at that point.

Need serious help and attention helping/safeguarding customers from such instances / vendors.
